A new stamp was cancelled and put into circulation on November 25th at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. The issue is dedicated to the presidency of Armenia at the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe. The stamp represents the Headquarters of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, the flags of the member states of the Council of Europe and the logotype of the presidency of Armenia at the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.

The cancellation was carried out by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Mr. Edvard Nalbandyan and the Minister of Transport and Communication of the Republic of Armenia Mr. Gagik Beglaryan. Several diplomats, deputy ministers of foreign affairs and other officials were present at the solemn cancellation ceremony.


Armenia assumed the presidency at the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe on May 16th 2013, for six , until November 9th.
