One new postage stamp dedicated to the theme “Children’s philately. Armenian cartoons”

n December 28th, 2018, one postage stamp dedicated to the theme “Children’s philately. Armenian cartoons” was cancelled and put into circulation by “HayPost” CJSC in the premises of “Sahakyants Animation Studio”.


The postage stamp with nominal value of 100 AMD is printed in “Cartor” printing house in France with the print-run of 40 000 pcs. The author of the stamp’s design is the chief designer of “HayPost” CJSC Vahagn Mkrtchyan.


The postage stamp depicts the poster of “Anahit” Armenian cartoon which was screened by “Sahakyants Animation Studio” in 2014 on the base of homonymous fairy tale by the Armenian writer Ghazaros Aghayan.


The postage stamp was cancelled by the Deputy Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of the Republic of Armenia Armen Arzumanyan, the Co-founder of “Sahakyants Animation Studio” David Sahakyants,Acting Chief Executive Officer of “HayPost” CJSC Haik Avagyan, the President of the Union of Philatelists of the RA Hovik Musayelyan.
