PosTransfer Money Transfers

“HayPost” CJSC carries out express postal money transfers under PosTransfer Trademark. These transfers are carried out between the designated postal operators of the Republic Armenia and the Russian Federation.


PosTransfer postal money transfers (hereinafter: money transfers) are made between individuals. The transfers are available in 15 minutes.


The maximal limit of a transaction is 300 000 Russian rubles or the equivalent amount in AMD. The acceptance and payment of PosTransfer postal money transfers in the Republic of Armenia is carried out in Russian rubles or, upon the client’s request, in Armenian drams.


The tariff for PosTransfer postal money transfers in the Republic of Armenia makes 1.2%, minimum 60 rubles.

Commission is charged from sender only, in the Republic of Armenia only in Armenian drams.


The transfer is kept in the system for 30 days. If the deadline is expired, if the recipient does not come to take the amount or if the recipient refuses to take the amount, the transferred money is being returned to the sender, except the commission.


How to send?

- Visit the nearest Post Office;

- Submit an identity document (passport, ID card, military service book for people implementing provisional compulsory military service);

- Inform the employee of the Post Office the recipient’s name, surname, postal address and the transferred amount;

- The employee of the Post Office will fill out the transfer application;

- Pay the transferred amount and the commission;

- The employee of the Post Office will provide a transfer number (code);

- Inform the recipient on the amount and the transfer number (code).


How to receive?

- Visit the nearest Post Office;

- Submit an identity document (passport, ID card, military service book for people implementing provisional compulsory military service);

- Submit the transfer number (code) to the Post Office employee and take the amount (no commission is charged when paying the amount).

Money transfers shall be paid solely to the recipients mentioned on the transfer or to the authorized representative, on the basis of a power of attorney ratified by notary. Any power of attorney issued in another state shall be ratified by apostle, unless anything else is envisaged by the international agreements of the Republic of Armenia.


Modification of transfer details is not permitted.


During a money transfer “HayPost” CJSC shall provide the client with a document confirming each transfer, which will contain the transferred amount, the commission, the currency and other details.
